About the role: 

GoHealth is a performance marketing powerhouse, bringing together creative, strategy, media, and analytics to engage customers in their all-important health insurance decisions for maximum impact. We are leading from the front, shifting an industry built on transactional encounters to one centered on trusted relationships. As empathetic communicators and data-driven decision makers, we are passionate about connecting with our consumer in a purposeful and personal way. The GoHealth Marketing department is seeking creative thinkers with the mental agility to ask meaningful questions and draw upon insights to drive impactful results.

The Manager of Digital Marketing will help oversee the Digital Marketing Strategy, execution, and expansion of the digital portfolio. You will be responsible for leading a team to manage and optimize paid search, display, social, connected tv, and other digital channels to drive customer acquisition and retention.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee 2 direct reports, leveraging a $100M+ marketing budget to drive innovation execute strategy, and achieve exceptional results.
  • Implement and refine strategies to optimize funnel metrics, driving increased conversions and improving key performance indicators (CPL, CPO, CPA, ROAS) across the entire customer acquisition journey.
  • Proven track record in executing successful media buying campaigns through DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon) demonstrating expertise in optimizing ad placements, leveraging audience, and maximizing ROI across multiple digital channels.
  • Drive optimizations beyond the click, leading dedicated experimentation and development teams to support website funnel and consumer engagement testing.
  • Create strategic briefs and partner with creative teams to translate those briefs into compelling ad copy, visual assets, and landing pages for use in all digital campaigns.
  • Be the subject matter expert for digital marketing, including keeping a pulse on marketing trends, creatives, value proposition, targeting opportunities and more.
  • Collaborate with technology, strategy, advanced analytics, and creative to ensure cohesive marketing strategies and maximize results.
  • Create strategic briefs and partner with creative teams to translate those briefs into compelling ad copy, visual assets, and landing pages for use in all digital campaigns.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4-5+ years of experience in direct response, performance-based digital advertising
  • A deep understanding of marketing, media, and digital advertising landscape
  • A preference for a fast-paced and dynamic environment; ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders.
  • Managed minimum budget size of $10-$20M annually.
  • 1-2+ years of mentorship; direct management experience preferred
  • Experience with DV360, The Trade Desk, Meta Amazon Display Network, Google Ad Suite, and other advertising platforms.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Optimize.

Location: Hybrid, 3 days Onsite(Chicago, IL)
