Aaron got started in journalism where he developed award-winning stories for local newspapers. He later transferred his diverse talents for storytelling to copywriting, where he worked for mid- to large-size companies in the U.S. and abroad. Between the two careers he’s developed a keen ability to find facts and break down complex topics to make them easier to understand. With more than 10 years of writing experience, Aaron was compelled to join GoHealth after helping a loved one with the Medicare enrollment process. Now the Appalachian State University alum and Charlotte resident is bringing his reader-centric approach to healthcare with the goal of helping others get the most out of their Medicare benefits.
“One of the things I love most about my work at GoHealth is that we’re actively helping people who need it. Healthcare, for anyone, can be stressful and deeply personal. It shouldn’t be confusing, too. As someone who has searched for answers and guidance about Medicare, I love having the opportunity to make that process easier for others. With healthcare, providing these kinds of solutions isn’t just helpful — it can literally improve someone’s quality of life. That’s incredibly rewarding, and the main reason I joined GoHealth.”
