Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Electronic Media (2005) from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. As a freelance medical writer for more than 15 years, she has produced continuing education materials and educational articles for numerous pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organizations, and healthcare media outlets. These include EverydayHealth, Healthline, Medical News Today, EBSCO, and HealthStream.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2013) and Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia (2018) from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC).
Rachel currently practices as a CRNA at Anesthesiology Consultants Exchange, P.C. in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with primary practice at Erlanger Baroness Hospital. She is also active in the Tennessee Association of Nurse Anesthetists (TANA), where she currently serves as the District IV Director and a past Education Chair for District IV.
Rachel is proud to combine her love of educating consumers and students in her work as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UTC where she directs Simulation Programming for Nurse Anesthesia students.
