Rachael Zimlich, RN, BSN, is a critical care nurse and medical journalist based in Cleveland, Ohio. She received her journalism degree from Point Park University in 2003, and has written from numerous publications like Medical Economics, Healthline, Managed Healthcare Executive, and the Akron Beacon Journal. Rachael has earned a number of accolades for her writing, including winning the Jesse H. Neal Award for her work with DVM Newsmagazine. In addition to writing, Rachael has expanded her experience in healthcare as a bedside nurse in a critical care unit.
