TeleCare Member Services Agent

Charlotte, NC

GoHealth is looking for new members to join its growing Telecare team! A GoHealth Telecare Member Services team member provides support and services to clients who have purchased and enrolled in Medicare plans with GoHealth. You'll be responsible for creating an outstanding experience for new members as they get to know their new health insurance plan and supporting our existing members as questions or issues about their plan may arise. Responsibilities

  • Engage with existing members, delivering high quality customer service and helping them navigate their new health insurance plan
  • Educate members on information regarding plan benefits, policies, and procedures (what's in their plan AND how do they use it)
  • Work closely with their manager to investigate and resolve member complaints and escalations
  • Sell and cross-sell products and services in order to meet member needs
  • Have thorough knowledge of products and services that GoHealth offers
  • Work on special projects for the GoHealth Telecare team, expanding the services provided, and value delivered to members
  • Work simultaneously with multiple computers, applications, and databases
  • Ensure members are satisfied with their purchases and see GoHealth's TeleCare team as a partner in their continued health journey

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills to be able to respond to inquiries and requests
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in groups and alone
  • Previous sales experience and/or member services experience preferred
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in sales, retention, or member services setting preferred
  • License in Health preferred but not required at time of application
