Technical Project Manager II

About the role:

Responsible for leading large, complex projects across the enterprise. The project team leads and provide oversight of the organization’s strategic initiatives, thereby providing the enterprise with assurance that the desired business value of the initiatives are achieved.

This position requires big picture thinking, initiative, attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, capacity to handle internal and external relationships, competence to work with senior executives, and excellent soft skills.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive programs of strategic importance enterprise wide
  • Ability to build project timeline to plan and subsequently lead all aspects of and report progress within the project environment
  • Operate with a deep understanding of Agile, certified Scrum processes, and current methods of coordinating Business & IT. Understanding of Scrum Master concepts and exhibits demonstrably the traits of a successful Scrum Master
  • Ability to identify all people or organizations impacted by the project, analyzing customer expectations and impact on the project, and developing appropriate management strategies for actively engross collaborators in project decisions and execution

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of technical leadership experience in an Agile software development environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in information science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or another quantitative field
  • Situational Awareness – must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and communicate to management
  • Leadership – must be the voice of reason that guides the team to be focused to achieve results
  • Experience working with global/remote teams
  • Preferred: Possesses certification in either Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Scrum Master (ASM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from an accredited organization
