About the role:
The Project Manager II, Infrastructure will play a key role in supporting GoHealth’s core infrastructure technology related to networks, servers, desktops, productivity applications, and backups. The right candidate is passionate about technology, enjoys innovating and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills to be successful.
What you’ll do:
- Lead technical projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring project goals and objectives are met within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and vendors to identify project requirements, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project progress, risks, and results.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure that project deliverables are of high quality and meet customer requirements.
- Manage project scope, change control, and risk management processes.
- Drive continuous process improvements and best practices in project management.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Cloud, Azure, and Office 365.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN helpful.
- Experience with server and desktop management, including hardware and software deployment, patch management, and security.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, and manage project stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
