Team Manager

The Customer Service Manager, is a leader that will lead a team of non-licensed call center agents who contact our warm leads to qualify and transfer the customer to a licensed agent who will sell a insurance policy.  The ideal candidate will be able to motivate a team to deliver on their goals, as well as ensuring team goals are met and exceeded.. You have experience motivating, supporting and providing sales guidance to a team so that sales goals are met and exceeded. This a great leadership roles with development and professional growth opportunities. You will have a direct impact on sales, goals and quotes.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute sound call center operational practices; including attendance adherence and vacation policies, coaching cadences, and company policies
  • Serve as a stellar change agent by planning, communicating, and supporting the changes within the call center
  • Participate in the planning and on-boarding of new agents for the annual enrollment period and aid in classroom training, material development, and assessment testing
  • Use reporting tools, product knowledge, and sales strategies to coach performance
  • Partner with support teams to improve call center operations
  • Partner with the Agent Performance team to gain a better view of agents' results and identify training needs and performance plans
  • Exemplify the top agent performance when selling individual insurance policies to consumers

Skills and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of sales management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Outstanding knowledge in customer service, sales skills and telephone etiquette
  • Able to coach a team, while developing and motivating individual team members
  • Ability to set, satisfy, and exceed sales targets
  • Able and available to work nights, weekends, and extended hours if needed
