Strategy Associate


GoHealth is looking for an Associate to support in the growth of our organization. The opportunity for impact spreads across our sales strategy, marketing operations, product strategy, growth marketing, customer operations, talent acquisition and technical strategy teams. You will be responsible for collaborating with leaders across the organization to drive initiatives that will support our long-term success
and growth. You will focus on using analytics and business insights to identify high-impact opportunities and determine the optimal approach to implement them. The position requires superb change management skills and a strategic mindset, but also the comfortability to react quickly and adjust to new strategies in real time. We are looking for a team player who is driven, and has a history of implementation success.

  • Work directly with cross-functional leadership to design and drive strategic initiatives across departments
  • Use analytics and modeling to identify opportunities for GoHealth to optimize its financial and operational performance
  • Develop and iterate on short- and long-term operations improvement proposals for leadership
  • Create presentations that visually demonstrate progress across initiatives
  • Quantify growth and cost savings opportunities through a variety of models and analyses
  • Gather data, create and test hypotheses, summarize findings, and develop go-forward plans
  • Clearly communicate business objectives and financial impact of projects to audiences across our organization.
  • Create new processes that support the business by decreasing costs, increasing efficiency, and driving process improvements
  • Willingness to dig into data, take risks, experiment, and be prepared to learn from it
  • Own end-to-end work streams, from assessment through proposal creation, internal approval, negotiation, and execution
  • Quantify growth and cost savings opportunities through a variety of models and analyses

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of work experience in business operations, consulting, strategy, or similar role at a high-growth company
  • Experience with business strategy, project management, and financial analysis, preferably for top-tier services/investment firms, or growth companies
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projectsStrong analytical capabilities with a passion for providing innovative and impactful insights through modeling and data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects; strong communication skills and experience with working cross-functionally across various teams
  • Demonstrated aptitude for critical decision making with an ability to bring strategic, operational and financial perspectives to bear on those decisions
  • A creative approach to problem solving; comfortable thinking in a “scrappy” way to deliver short term wins and insights, while working towards a broader goals
