About The Role

GoHealth is a performance marketing powerhouse, bringing together creative, strategy, media, and analytics to engage customers in their all-important health insurance decisions for maximum impact. We are leading from the front, shifting an industry built on transactional encounters to one centered on trusted relationships. As empathetic communicators and data-driven decision makers, we are passionate about connecting with our consumer in a purposeful and personal way. The GoHealth Marketing department is seeking creative thinkers with the mental agility to ask meaningful questions and draw upon insights to drive impactful results. As a member of this team, you will play a pivotal, hands-on role in email and SMS campaign strategy, development, and measurement to drive engagement and retention. This role will report directly our Director of Marketing.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the planning, execution, management, and measurement of all email communication within our marketing automation technology stack.
  • Lead stakeholders across the business including digital marketing, brand, product, engineering, sales, and retention to create quality email and SMS campaigns that drive audience acquisition and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors to support the execution of marketing programs.
  • Drive member engagement and retention through targeted, personalized lifecycle marketing campaigns, leveraging insights from data analytics and member segmentation.
  • Leverage campaign learnings to drive campaign strategy recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
  • Partner with consumer insights, communications, and commercial leaders to launch digital engagements that delight consumers.
  • Ensure the organization is ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform lifecycle marketing strategies and tactics.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ yrs managing email marketing strategy
  • Blueshift experience or proficiency in other marketing automation platforms
  • Expertise in email, SMS, and Digital marketing
    • In-depth knowledge of lifecycle marketing principles and best practices, including segmentation, targeting, and personalized communication strategies.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in HTML
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient data analysis skills
    • A/B testing practices
    • Ability to draw conclusions from data sets
  • Basic SQL preferred


  • Hybrid, 3 days Onsite(Chicago, IL)
