Sales Trainer - Tier 1

North Carolina

The Learning & Development team is looking for a Sales Trainer to deliver training to our experienced insurance advocates and customer service teams. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional training, providing input to the design and measurement of programs, as well as providing coaching and feedback to multiple teams that are measured with KPI’s. You will be working with a Learning & Development manager and have a direct impact on the success of our sales agents. Apply today and join a growing team and company.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer training to new hires to meet and exceed key performance indicators
  • Manage our new hire’s gap from the training to sales team integration
  • Effectively assess new hires and report on their performance to Team Leaders
  • Consult with business leaders to evaluate areas of opportunity and collaborate on continuing education and communication initiatives to drive performance improvements
  • Use key performance indicators, reports, and direct observation to provide one-on-one coaching that will improve performance
  • Review and manage instructor-led and online training materials
  • Create training or classes around business process updates, sales, products, systems and compliance
  • Learn, understand and adhere to all company training policies and procedures

Skills & Experience:

  • Professional training or facilitation experience is required. 
  • Experience training groups of 20-30 people.
  • Have a passion for coaching and developing people
  • Health / Medicare sales experience is a plus 
  • Exemplary communicator with a collaborative working style
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with measuring training effectiveness preferred
