Sales Strategy Compensation Analyst

Chicago, IL

We are seeking a high-energy, insightful Sales Strategy Compensation Analyst to help us make better sales and marketing decisions to ensure that customers who need health insurance get covered.

You will be responsible for gathering and reporting sales and enrollment statistics to provide recommendations to improve compensation plans for our 2,000+ team of sales agents. You should be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of data gathering processes using disparate sources, analysis, trend identification and report development. You will have the opportunity to reconcile the data to develop financial and strategic analyses to present findings to executive leadership.

Due to the unprecedented situation of COVID-19, GoHealth has decided to protect our current and future employees by managing our business remotely. This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding and each role day-to-day. Please consider that our roles will not be remote long-term and will return to an office setting once we're safe to do so following the guidance of local health authorities’ and the CDC.

Responsibilities:

  • Extract and transform raw data from various databases into meaningful and useful information to enable more effective strategic, tactical, and operational insights relating to sales agent compensation
  • Calculate monthly variable compensation for our sales force
  • Evaluate current processes, recommend and implement future state solutions
  • Work with the Sales team to interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings for executive leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot daily data-feeds and reports
  • Create accurate reports by established deadlines and on an ad-hoc basis
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned to support the Sales team

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors’ degree required, preferably in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science 
  • 1-2 years of experience in strategy or consulting preferred 
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (manipulating large sets of raw data, complex formulas, modeling) required
  • Tableau experience a plus
  • Ability to solve problems, develop workarounds, and craft intuitive reports
  • Displays effective communication skills to all levels of management in both verbal and written forms
