About the role:
GoHealth is looking for an experienced Analytics Associate to join their Revenue and Actuarial team. The associate will be working with business leaders and organization executives, to deliver actionable reporting and analytics, driving company growth, margin, and value. Due to the dynamic nature of the position and role, the candidate should be a strong self-starter, who can work autonomously, as well as have a keen problem-solving ability and willingness to undertake any task.
What you will do:
- Become an expert in GoHealth’s business processes, especially as it pertains to revenue and customers across each business unit
- Build models that forecast revenue and cash, as well as exception reporting, and other revenue-related workbooks which allow the team and business leaders to make business decisions
- Build reporting models, based on actual commission and customer data, for daily P&Ls, book of business, and commission tracking
- Collaborate with business leaders across all business units, Captive, Non-Captive, Encompass Connect, and Enterprise Solutions
- Continually think of new ways data-based insights can help support GoHealth’s processes and improve decision-making
- Communicate analytical insights, both verbally and visually
- Compile complex data sets from a variety of sources
- Identify additional data sets that can drive strategy, improve decision making, and automate processes
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Economics or another quantitatively focused field
- Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL with the ability to write complex scripts and queries
- 3+ years in a data analysis role and/or an advanced degree in a quantitatively focused field
- Proficient with Tableau, developing complex calculated fields, workbooks, and visualizations
- Experience performing analytics in a business and/or healthcare environment, with some degree of focus on revenue or payment related transactions
- A keen ability to problem solve and identify issues, as well as navigate large data sets that at times require data manipulation and cleansing
- Proven ability to take insights and turn them into actionable steps that can drive business value
- Desire to improve upon current skills and learn new ones
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight
