Performance Marketing Analyst

About the role: In this role, you’ll get to collaborate directly with marketing leaders responsible for well over $100 million in annual ad spend, reporting to GoHealth’s Director of Performance Marketing. We leverage customer insights, heavy creative testing and an “always follow the data” approach toward driving direct response customer acquisition.  Our offline media strategy plays a key role in driving high value customer engagement, and this role will be responsible for helping to grow those channels with a focus on direct mail print and direct response television campaigns.

About the team: GoHealth’s Offline and Performance Marketing teams collaborate closely across mediums and with all facets of the organization.  In this role you will have direct exposure to all things marketing, from Data Science to Advanced Analytics, Supply & Demand, Engineering, and Creative production.     

What you’ll do:

  • Support GoHealth’s Direct Mail campaigns through volume modeling, and continued optimization of consumer targeting strategies.
  • Continuously optimize media spend through stringent analysis of dayparting, geographical exposure, frequency, cost and more to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Analyze performance data across entire funnel – from ad impression to sale – and identify cross-channel wins as well as potential areas for optimization or testing.
  • Assist the weekly media buying and optimization process for GoHealth’s robust DRTV campaigns
  • Work collaboratively with captive business owners and marketing leadership to maximize ROI/CPA goals within a multi-million dollar monthly budget
  • Track historical airings and logs for the purposes of modeling inbound volume & Evaluate the buying strategies of our agency partner to apply learnings

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years experience within an analytics function in the marketing industry. 
  • Proven ability to interpret data to find insights and drive recommendations- we don’t want you to simply present data with no key findings.
  • Advanced Excel skills – we are talking more than the standard vlookups and pivot tables.
  • MySQL experience will help in this role, but not required.
