Human Resources Business Partner

Chicago, IL

GoHealth is looking for an HR Business Partner to support and lead our Chicago Corporate location. This role reports to our Director of HR, and as our HRBP, you will partner with internal teams and leadership to drive HR programs and initiatives, and drive overall talent management. GoHealth is a young, fast growing company so if you are anxious to get into an organization that is working to establish and refine HR programs, processes and strategy, this is the role for you!

Due to the unprecedented situation of COVID-19, GoHealth has decided to protect our current and future employees by managing our business remotely. This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding and each role day-to-day. Please consider that our roles will not be remote long-term and will return to an office setting once we're safe to do so following the guidance of local health authorities’ and the CDC.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a partner to the business building relationships to ensure HR alignment matches the goals and outcomes
  • Work closely with leadership, including our executives, to continue to drive value from our department across the organization
  • Support the engagement and execution of reward and performance cycle programs and incentives, lead business Performance Management processes ensuring alignment with business/individual results
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues including conducting thorough and objective investigations ensuring consistency
  • Works closely with the BU leadership and employees to improve work relationships, maintain company culture, build morale, and increase retention
  • Advise on all HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Develops communications and communication plans as needed around programs,

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable combination of education and human resources related experience; PHR/SPHR is a plus, but not required
  • 8+ years previous human resources experience solving complex human resources matters
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines with a focus on talent management, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, succession planning and employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written
  • Highly detailed and ability to analyze and interpret results to create, plan and deliver effective solutions to help keep moving our business forward.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and leverage past experience to make solid recommendations for the business
