Human Resources Business Partner

Chicago, IL

GoHealth is looking for an HR Business Partner to support and lead our Chicago Corporate location. This role reports to the Director of HR, and will partner with internal teams and leadership to support HR initiatives, support employee relations and drive employee engagement. Due to the unprecedented situation of COVID-19, GoHealth has decided to protect our current and future employees by managing our business remotely. This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding and each role day-to-day. Please consider that our roles will not be remote long-term and will return to an office setting once we're safe to do so following the guidance of local health authorities’ and the CDC.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a partner to the business building relationships to ensure HR alignment matches the goals and outcomes
  • Develops communications and communication plans as needed around programs, notifications, and yearly events impacted large parts of the organization
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues including conducting thorough and objective investigations ensuring consistency
  • Works closely with the BU leadership and employees to improve work relationships, create culture, build morale, and retention
  • Advisor on all HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Support the engagement and execution of reward and performance cycle programs and incentives, lead business Performance Management processes ensuring alignment with business/individual results

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable combination of education and human resources related experience; PHR/SPHR is a plus, but not required
  • 5+ years previous human resources experience solving complex human resources matters
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines with a focus on employee relations, staffing, performance management, succession planning and employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written
  • Highly detailed and ability to analyze and interpret results to create effective solutions
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and leverage past experience to make solid recommendations for the business
