Development Pod Team Manager

Virtual, USA

The GoHealth Development Pod Manager will be responsible for both team and individual agent performance.  You will be a motivator and supporter creating and implementing effective sales techniques, increasing sales production per agents, driving compliance, ensuring accurate administrative activities, and promoting GoHealth’s culture. You will be a proven sales leader, interested in making an impact with agents and passionate in driving performance

Responsibilities:

  • Holding yourself accountable to the expectations of your role and taking ownership of your results
  • Driving accountability in others to meet their goals and the expectations of their role
  • Planning and supporting the development of agents' knowledge, skills, and abilities so that they can grow to meet the expectations
  • Consistently driving measurable improvement in agent sales performance
  • Active coaching and long-term development and performance improvement
  • Taking prompt action to accomplish goals related to individual and team performance
  • Taking action to achieve results beyond what is required and setting expectations of continued improvement
  • Leads by example when establishing team expectations
  • Continually encourages and maintains a strong positive presence for team members
  • Develop connection to reporting agents beyond performance and ability to create a team environment
  • Establishing an action plan for self and team members to meet goals and expectations by setting priorities, identifying barriers
  • Consistently setting, tracking, achieving, and exceeding individual and team goals
  • Understand how role drives success for the entire business

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of sales management/leadership experience preferred
  • Ample Medicare knowledge preferred
  • Willingness to learn and understanding the GoHealth business, sales process, and the “why” behind them
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Outstanding customer focus, sales skills, and telephone etiquette
  • Ability to work well within a team, develop, and motivate staff
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
