Carrier Development & Relations Senior Associate

The Business Development & Carrier Relations team at GoHealth partners with leading health plans that will give consumers the right health insurance coverage for their needs. As a Carrier Development & Relations Senior Associate, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with new and existing health plans. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive long-term, strategic growth for GoHealth.

Due to the unprecedented situation of COVID-19, GoHealth has decided to protect our current and future employees by managing our business remotely. This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding and each role day-to-day. Please consider that our roles will not be remote long-term and will return to an office setting once we're safe to do so following the guidance of local health authorities’ and the CDC.


  • Work across all business units to drive strategic carrier initiatives from ideation through completion, and continue to be engaged in ongoing program optimization
  • Project manage technology implementations and/or pilot initiatives both internally and externally
  • Lead and presenting in client facing meetings, with proficiency in key business skills including data analysis, critical thinking, and business communication
  • Collaborate with our product team to perform health plan market research and competitive analysis
  • Enable GoHealth to fulfill day-to-day carrier relationship needs through internal and external communication and coordination
  • Ability to critically think and put together business cases for potential go-to-market strategies and opportunities
  • Research, design, and implement process improvement initiatives to create efficiencies and accountability
  • Draft presentations that demonstrate significant business insights to both external and internal stakeholders, and provide management with updates on key carrier developments

Skills & Experience:

  • BA or BS degree with 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in management consulting, client relations, or business/sales operations
  • Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet changing deadlines and priorities
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a passion for providing innovative solutions driven through research and data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of or experience in the Healthcare industry is a bonus but not required
