About The Role

GoHealth is a performance marketing powerhouse, bringing together creative, strategy, media, and analytics to engage customers in their all-important health insurance decisions for maximum impact. We are leading from the front, shifting an industry built on transactional encounters to one centered on trusted relationships. As empathetic communicators and data-driven decision makers, we are passionate about connecting with our consumer in a purposeful and personal way. The GoHealth Marketing department is seeking creative thinkers with the mental agility to ask meaningful questions and draw upon insights to drive impactful results.

The Account Director will translate business objectives into communications strategy while ensuring adherence to compliance regulations across a breadth online and traditional channels. Importantly, this role will also act as a key liaison to internal stakeholders and external health plan partners in ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and alignment to shared goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate a robust package of consumer insights into actionable creative briefs
  • Manage the proactive ‘test & learn’ strategy across multiple messaging channels for each consumer segment and value proposition
  • Influence and guide the work of internal and external creative teams
  • Interpret CMS regulations and translate into a clearly defined creative operating manual. Define creative guidelines and integrate into the creative and brand team workflow.
  • Act as an extension of our Compliance Counsel to ensure marketing creative work abides by all regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop a regulatory approval process and execution workflow
  • Partner with marketing channel owners to drive business strategies through creative work
  • Work with creative teams to develop value propositions through product and market research
  • Encourage brand consistency throughout creative development process
  • Analyze work pragmatically to drive improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5-10 years of experience as an Agency Account Director or in-house Brand Leader, ideally in a direct-to-consumer performance marketing business
  • Experience in regulated industries like healthcare, pharma, financial services
  • Ability to balance multiple projects in a high stakes work environment
  • A self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb attention to detail and a strong commitment to data integrity
  • Ability to manage content in a highly regulated industry
