About the role:

Responsible for leading large, complex projects across the enterprise. The project team leads and provide oversight of the organization’s strategic initiatives, thereby providing the enterprise with assurance that the desired business value of the initiatives are achieved. This position requires big picture thinking, initiative, attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, capacity to handle internal and external relationships, competence to work with senior executives, and excellent soft skills. The Project Manager II, Data will play a key role in supporting GoHealth’s core data platform. The right candidate is passionate about technology, enjoys innovating and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills to be successful.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage teams across functional boundaries, both internal and external.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate strategic plans, goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the production of program reports, materials, and content.
  • Oversee program plans and tracking of progress and changes.
  • Provide and communicate overall vision and direction for program.
  • Drive strategic roadmap both for product features, technology and overall business development.
  • Assist in the management and supervision of program staff.
  • Manage and complete assigned work plan objectives and projects on a timely basis.
  • Seek opportunities to make improvements to team efficiency and process.
  • Provide guidance and role modeling to all members.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
  • Design, and develop and incubate ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, to drive key business decisions and work with stakeholders across the organization to understand usage and customer lifecycles

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelors or Masters STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience, as an Analyst, Scrum Master, Project Manager, Program Manager (or equivalent) or Developer, working with technical teams developing software solutions. Including, 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master, Kanban, or Agile coach.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of Data Platform and DevOps projects.
  • Strong Technology know of how tech stacks (Big Data would be a plus) and deep experience with best practices in software engineering practices. DataBricks experience preferred.
  • PMP, or similar detailed knowledge of formal project management processes.
